Matthew 21:10-11….Ready
21:10 When Jesus entered Jerusalem, (By entering Jerusalem amidst celebration and questioning, Jesus demonstrates His willingness to engage with humanity, even knowing the rejection and suffering He would face.) the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?” 11 The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.” (It didn’t help when they hear he’s a prophet from a place of no significance in Judah’s history, a town that wasn’t even part of Judah) (For Complete Expository See Book)
Extended Sermons
“Displays the disruption Jesus brings into our lives, shaking the areas where we’ve grown comfortable & complacent.” → What parts of your life and world need Jesus’ turmoil? What needs to be shaken awake and back to life? What has become foundational for your life but no longer supports your life? What are the old ways of thinking, seeing, and acting that just need to crumble and fall? In what ways have you become a prisoner of the very structures upon which you built your life? Somewhere in each of our lives we need the triumphant turmoil of Christ.
“Even today, are you stirring others up for Jesus. Is your kindness, compassion, integrity, and peace, especially in time of crises, moving people to ask what’s the source of your hope, what makes you different? “ → When your life reflects genuine faith, your actions and words can inspire those around you to seek a deeper understanding of Jesus. As you model steadfastness and humility in daily challenges, you become a living testimony that points others toward His love and truth. Such authenticity in your walk may be what prompts real questions and opens hearts to the message of Christ, encouraging them to move from mere observation to personal engagement with His mission and purpose.
