Matthew 20:25-28
Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them.
26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave—
28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

-
Teaches how everyone can be great and everyone can serve. That you don’t need a collage degree to serve, you don’t need to know about Plato & Aristotle to serve, you don’t need to understand Eisenstein’s theory of relativity to serve, you don’t need to know the second theory of thermal dynamics in physics to serve, but only a heart full of grace and love.
-
Emphasizes how were to serve just like Jesus, that Jesus didn’t need much. That Jesus never went to seminary, He never wrote a book, He never held an office, He never had a family, He never owed a house, He never visited a big city, He never went 200 hundred miles from where He was born. He never did that which the world would associate with greatness. In fact when He was crucified the only thing He owned was the clothes on His back, and they even took that! And when He was dead He was buried in a borrowed tomb donated through the pity of a friend! Yet He stood as the greatest figure in human history who only went around serving!
