“Teaches when decisions are based on God’s Word it quiets our doubts, assuring us were doing the right thing. ‘ ⇒ When walking in the truth and following the scriptures we don’t listen to other peoples opinions. We don’t listen to our feelings. We don’t let insecurity drive the bus. We don’t give into the manipulation of other people, we keep trusting the Lord. Not only that, but it also emboldens our faithfulness, now there’s courage, strength, and confidence. That were not doing this because we thought it was a good odea. We’re not doing it because we came up with it on our own. We’re just being faithful and obedient in carrying out God’s word and instructions.
“Even today, when confronting sin we can second guess ourselves. Maybe were overacting or misunderstood . Maybe we were too harsh, too judgmental, too insensitive. When we de we can take comfort we’re doing the right thing because it’s based on the principals and teachings of God’s Word.” → When faced with moments of uncertainty, especially when making decisions that affect others, doubt often creeps in like an unwelcome guest. It’s in these very moments that we must trust in the principles that guide us—kindness, wisdom, and love. True leadership is not about being free from hesitations; it is about moving forward despite them, grounded in what is just and compassionate. Remember, the act of discipline, when rooted in care and integrity, is not a mere correction but a step toward healing and restoration. It is an opportunity to lift others up, to teach, and to grow together. Even when decisions weigh heavily, let them be a reflection of your courage to uphold what is right, even in the face of doubt.
“This verse is not teaching on spiritual warfare, giving believers authority to bind Satan & demonic forces operating against them. If that were so why would you ever “Loose” them after you “Bound” them? Nor is this giving the church the authority to determine whether someone’s a Christian or not. Or whether they’ve been Saved or not → This is not a get out of hell free card, that church has the power to absolve people of their sin. But rather the church under the guidance of the Word of God and the Spirit of God has the authority to enact, and even in some degree, enforce the will of God in matters of church conduct, doctrines, and behavior.
