Matthew 16:28…..Ready
16:28 I tell you the truth, (Verily I say to you-(K.J.V., A.V.) Jesus is the only one who uses this phrase. There’s nothing else in Jewish Littauer that begins with this phrase. They would usually start with something profound and then add “Truly amen, amen” to the back of it. Where as Jesus’ truth is so absolute He can put it on the front end-(New) some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man (Expresses a Messianic title signifying the Messiah’s human and divine nature-(New) coming in his kingdom.
