Extended Sermon Notes
“Teaches how God honors & reward’s the type of faith that believes in Him regardless of obstacles and barriers.” ⇒ It is said Faith sees more of the promises of God to help, then the forces that hinder it. Whereas unbelief looks at the problems and declares it just can’t be done. Faith will cause you to see the love in the heart of Christ even when He is reproving you. Unbelief will image that He is angry with you even when He is speaking words of love. Faith will help the soul wait even when God delays. Unbelief will give up even if there’s any delay at all. Faith will give you comfort in the face of fear. Unbelief will bring you fear in the midst of comfort. Faith will find the sweetness in God’s rod. Unbelief will find no comfort at all even in His greatest mercies. Faith makes burdens light. Unbelief makes burdens heavy. Faith helps us when were down, Unbelief brings us down when we are up. Faith brings us near to God when we were far from Him. Unbelief puts us far from God when He is near. Faith sets men free. Unbelief holds men in bondage. Faith purifies our hearts. Unbelief pollutes our hearts. Faith brings peace to our soul. Unbelief brings strife and troubles. Faith helps us see the preciousness in Christ. Unbelief see no beauty that we should desire Him. Faith brings us to victory. Unbelief brings us to defeat. Faith brings us to see glory even in face of hardships and sufferings. Unbelief will only see miseries and hardships in the present world. Faith makes the things of God pleasant and joyful. Unbelief makes them heavy and intolerable.
“Calls for the kind of faith that perseveres in God’s goodness and kindness even though there’s so much we don’t understand.” ⇒ Will you still have faith in the Lord come what may. Such faith remains steadfast even when answers seem distant or God’s ways are mysterious, trusting His love when His hand is hidden. It is the kind of faith that continues to seek, to knock, to ask, and to believe, even when life is filled with uncertainties or disappointments, and that finds assurance not in circumstances but in the unwavering character of Christ.

No where is the bible. At least in the scriptures, do we hear Jesus saying this about anyone else “Great is your faith.
