“Warns against thinking what can I do? I don’t have much… I don’t have anything impressive to offer or contribute.” ⇒ You run into people all the time who say “I want to do great things for God!” Don’t think like that because even little things can still be meaningful and valuable. So stop thinking I need the money, resources, and energy. I need the ability to speak good, write good, teach good. Instead just do what you can and God will remember it If not careful we can end up disqualify ourselves from serving because we think we lack talent, money, influence, or ability. Every believer faces a subtle temptation—not the temptation to sin boldly, but the temptation to shrink quietly. To say: “What can I do?” “I don’t have much.” “I’m not gifted like others.” “I don’t have influence.” “I don’t have resources.” The greatest danger  is not failure—it is withdrawal. It is the one who says: I don’t have much, so I won’t do anything.” “I’m not gifted, so I won’t serve.” I’m not important, so I won’t step forward.” The question is never, “Do I have enough?” The question is, “Will I be faithful with what I do have?” The danger is not that we have too little to offer—it’s that we convince ourselves we have nothing to offer at all. So if you’re thinking I don’t have much to give, I don’t have a lot of money, what can I do? That may be true. But you can still give a hug to someone who is hurting? You can give a listening ear, an encouraging word, going out of your way to say something kind to someone. Volunteering at the homeless shelter.
