10:26 “So (Therefore. Conclusion drawn from V. 25 of being maligned)  do not be afraid (intimidated) of them. There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed or hidden that will not be made known. (Expresses how the truth will win out in the end.) 27 What I tell you in the dark, (privately, secretly. i.e. Jesus’ teachings, Gospel) speak in the daylight; (publicly, openly) what is whispered in your ear, (privately, secretly) proclaim from the roofs. (Boldly, fearlessly, courageously. Flat rooftops were often used as visible platforms to speak from.)

“Teaches how we don’t have to fear what people will say about us knowing God will vindicate our integrity” ⇒ Often times people will talk behind our backs. They’ll gossip about us. They’ll question our motives. They’ll falsely accuse us of doing ministry for money, fame. or what we can get out of it. They will try to assassinate our reputation and character by bring things up about our past. They’ll use our past criminal history and drug abuse to ruin our witness.
