Teaches no matter the doubt, questions, and reservations we may have God will always intervene and reassure us ! (Will you trust God for the answer and solution for what your going through?) (cf. prov. 3:5-6)

Teaches rather than react emotionally or impulsively to a situation we need to slow down, pause and reflect before taking any action that we will regret later on. (Will you be more of a thoughtful person than a impulsive person who takes matters into their own hands?)

Displays how often times we think we have a way to fix things when God has a better plan. (Before jumping the gun will you allow God to show you the way out in His own time and in His own way, even if there seems to be no way?)

Prepares believers for the uphill battles in doing the right thing, even if it comes at the cost of being persecuted, ridiculed, and made fun of by others. (In what area of your life is God calling you to be faithful even if the face of criticism, confusion, and uncertainty?)

Calls for patience and restraint before making a rush to judgment, especially when we don’t have all the details and facts. (Will you put aside your initial instincts and trust God?)

Teaches how believers need to stop and consider how even in the pain, anguish, and betrayals of life, that God may have a purpose in them than what we can now see!

Prepares believers how Satan often try’s to cloud our vision & minds, even more so when we’re feeling betrayed, hurt, and cheated on.

Displays God’s work in helping us to face our fears and insecurities. (God will always bring peace, comfort and encouragement in the midst of our struggles and darkest hours!)

Teaches if your having trouble in your marriage or with a difficult child, rather than take spontaneous and drastic measure, be patient, allowing God to remedy the situation.

Calls for not allowing fear to keep us from doing the right thing and all that God requires, even if means shame to our family and friends, or damages our reputation. (Will you stand with the innocent and wrongly condemned even if it results in being the talk of the town, the bud of jokes, and the snide remarks of others?)

Teaches though you may never be guided by an angel as Joseph was, but God will surly guide you through His word. And though you may never get a special dream from the Lord as Joseph did, but you can always look to His word, and find the message you need to hear!
→ Even today we may find ourselves facing a dilemma in our lives when we just don’t know what to do. It may be family problems, financial troubles, unexpected pregnancy, crises of faith, etc. but we can trust that God will come to our rescue with a solution in His own time and in His own way.
