Extended Sermons
“Displays Jesus’ compassion & concern for broken and hurting people who are in need of healing, both physical & spiritual.” → God isn’t distant or aloof, but He is right there with us in our pians and struggles. You never have to wonder how God feels about you when your going through hard times and a difficult season. Don’t let questions or the enemy plant any sort of doubt into your heart or mind that God doesn’t care about what your situation or whet your going through, because He does care. So no matter what you’re facing or how uncertain the road ahead may seem, remember: your struggles are not unnoticed by God. Even in the quiet corners of hardship, you are seen and cherished by God. Let no whisper of doubt tell you otherwise—your life matters deeply to God. When obstacles loom or discouragement knocks at your door, lift your eyes and step forward with faith in God’s love and compassion that His help and relief is on the way. The journey ahead may twist and turn, but you are never alone—and the best chapters are still to be written.
“Even today, we’re not to allow the pain or sorrow of a breakup, a layoff, an illness, a loss of a loved one, etc. stop us from serving and helping others, regardless of how inconvenient or untimely it may be.” → Will you help others even when you’re feeling down or going through a rough time. Our pain and struggles does not take away from us our duty to reach out in helping and ministering to others. Maybe you’ve come home from a hard day at work and your neighbor asks you to help them fix their car. Do say sorry I had a hard day at work, or do you help them. Seeing it as an opportunity to share the Gospel and witness Christ’s love for them. Who knows maybe God is inviting you to turn interruption from frustration into invitation. Maybe all these interruptions is God’s way of saying I want you to love them, I want you talk to them, I want you to help them.
